Activation of professional self-awareness of students in the context of updating the social significance of government projects and scientific research in the field of physical culture and sports

Objective of the study was to substantiate the pedagogical effects of various forms of activation of professional self-awareness and the formation of professional competence of students in the context of updating the social significance of government projects and scientific research in the field of physical culture and sports.
Methods and structure of the study. Analysis of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical observation, interviewing, methods of descriptive statistics. The study involved undergraduate and graduate students at the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Health of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education «MPGU» (n=150).
Results and conclusions. Analysis and synthesis of special information sources showed that the early involvement of students in various forms of familiarization and mastery of the fundamentals of professional activity and strengthening the acmeological trajectory of their professional development from the moment they begin training is the most important component of the educational process at the university. The study presents the pedagogical effects obtained through the use of various forms of activation of professional self-awareness and the formation.
