Introduction. One of the basic conditions for preserving individual health and increasing the effectiveness of sports training is the formation of meta-subject educational competencies among students involved in sports, aimed at valeological support of sports activities [1, 2]. The content of the valeological component (hereinafter referred to as VKSKS) is revealed in knowledge, skills and experience of health-improving activities, as well as methods of self-organization of a sports lifestyle.
The purpose of the study is to theoretically develop and experimentally substantiate the effectiveness of the methodology for developing VKSKS in the process of forming meta-subject health-preserving competencies based on the integration of educational and sports activities.
Methodology and organization of the study. The VKSKS development methodology includes in its content a set of meta-subject educational and research tasks aimed at the formation of health-preserving competencies: informational, analytical, methodological, organizational and practical. To determine the level of development of VKSKS, an integral scale of indicators of the formation of meta-subject health-preserving competencies for self-correction of individual health and self-organization of a sports lifestyle was developed.
Research results and discussion. At the beginning of the pedagogical experiment, no statistically significant differences were revealed in the criteria and indicators of the development of VKSKS among the subjects of the control (CG) and experimental (EG) groups. At the end of the formative experiment in the CG, the level of development of VKSKS remained at the average (optimization) level. At the same time, in the EG there was noted a high (creative) level of development of VKSKS in accordance with indicators of the formation of meta-subject competencies, namely self-correction of the state of physical, mental and social health, as well as based on indicators of self-organization of a sports lifestyle: optimization of work and rest, educational process and sports activity, regulation of a balanced diet and special diet, hardening of the body, personal and public hygiene, optimization of the process of sports training and restoration of performance, self-control and regulation of mental states.
Conclusions. Thus, the results of the study indicate the effectiveness of the VKSKS development methodology in the process of forming meta-subject health-preserving competencies that ensure self-correction of individual health and self-organization of a sports lifestyle.
