Transformation of total strength potential into accelerating power of bobsled players starting actions

Objective of the study was to identify factors for optimizing functional changes in power potential into direct acceleration power by coordinating the kinematic components of starting actions with the new power capabilities of bobsledders.
Methods and structure of the study. Based on the results of a discriminant analysis of 24 indicators characterizing the general and special strength qualities of athletes, the maximum speed of acceleration of the bob, kinematic indicators of the movement of the projectile, pedagogical algorithms for transforming the general strength potential of bobsledders into a direct component of the acceleration power of the projectile were developed.
Results and conclusions. The consistency of the aggregated parameters of the general strength potential and special speed-strength qualities is manifested in supercompensation of the accelerating power of movements and the achievement of total synergetics of development.
