Introduction. In modern conditions, the competitive activity of wrestlers is characterized by an increase in the intensity of the duel against the background of adaptation to constant changes in the rules of competition [1]. In view of this, there is a need to modernize the training system for wrestlers of the heavy weight category in the pre-competition period, where a reference model of confrontation is formed when implementing a modeling competitive load, as well as monitoring competitive readiness for a high-intensity duel.
The purpose of the study is to experimentally test the effectiveness of the application of the methodology of modeling the competitive activity of Greco–Roman style heavyweight wrestlers in conditions of increasing the intensity of the duel.
Methodology and organization of the study. The contingent of the studied persons are Greco-Roman wrestlers aged 16-28 years old, competing in weight categories up to 87 kg, up to 97 kg and up to 130 kg, qualifications: MS (n=20) and CMS (n=42). The study of sports performance was carried out using video analysis of duels and protocols of All-Russian competitions, technical readiness for the implementation of throws with various grips in 90 seconds. The mathematical analysis of the data was performed using the MATLAB program.
The results of the study and their discussion. The implementation of the technique increased the technical readiness of heavyweights (p<0.05) in the number of throws with a turn from 23.1±3.1 to 32.7±2.6, deflection from 12.0±3.1 to 18.2±2.4, twisting from 14.5±3.8 to 24.7±2.7, back belt from 7.8±2.0 to 13.0±2.1, reverse belt from 7.4±2.5 to 14.8±1.2. There was an increase (p<0.05) in tactical performance indicators in the number of active combat segments from 1.3±0.9 to 4.2±1.1, possession of the center of the carpet from 1.4±1.0 to 3.6±1.2, maneuvering from 2.2±1.5 to 6.5±1.8, shackling an opponent from 2.8±1.4 to 4.6±1.5, attempts to extinguish with 0.5±0.8 to 1.7±0.5, the sum of tactical actions from 13.5±5.0 to 33.1±5.9. It also revealed an increase (p<0.05) in technical effectiveness in the number of effective attacks from 1.8±1.2 to 4.9±1.5, neutralized attacks from 1.6±1.2 to 4.1±1.1, points scored from 5.4±1.1 to 9.7±1.8, a decrease in the number of missed attacks from 3.3±1.3 to 1.7±1.2 and lost points from 5.1±1.3 to 2.7±1.0.
Conclusion. The use of a technique that includes components of modeling the competitive load and the structure of the duel, varying and integrating indicators of the model load, monitoring and correcting the volume and intensity of the load, increases the parameters of competitive readiness and effectiveness of wrestlers.
