Introduction. A comprehensive assessment of the health of students based on various diagnostic methods, carried out during preventive medical examinations in Health Centers, allows you to get complete information about the functioning of the body and identify existing abnormalities. Annual surveys show the dynamics and effectiveness of health-saving activities carried out at school or university. Cooperation of educational institutions with Health Centers can be considered optimal models of educational activities in the field of health protection of schoolchildren and students.
The purpose of the study is a comprehensive assessment of the state of health of students in the conditions of interaction between the university and the Health Center.
Methodology and organization of the study. The study was conducted during 2012-2023 at the Arzamas Health Center. The survey included: questionnaires, anthropometry, functional testing, cardiointervalography, bioimpedance, assessment of biochemical parameters, angiological screening.
The results of the study and their discussion. During this period, more than 1,500 students were examined at the Health Center, who, along with the results of a comprehensive assessment of their condition, received advice on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, as well as a healthy lifestyle map with an individual health-saving trajectory. Based on the results of preventive examinations at the Health Center, two methods of functional diagnostics have been developed and patented: a method for assessing biological age (according to the Bio-age scale) [1] and a method for assessing the level of fitness health [2].
During the survey, it was revealed that the majority of students (86.1%) have biochemical blood parameters that correspond to the norm; almost half of students (48.7%) have a biological age that corresponds to the calendar, but about 40% of young people aged 18-29 years already have an accelerated rate of aging of the body; a satisfactory degree of adaptation is determined in 35.0% of students; almost half of the students have an average level of physical health (according to the method of G.L. Apanasenko) (46.4%), and the average level of fitness health is 40.6%.
The diet of students differs significantly from the norm and is characterized by increased values of caloric content (in boys – 2757.1 kcal, in girls – 2306.3 kcal), the amount of protein and fat against the background of a decrease in the proportion of carbohydrates.
During the analysis of bioimpedance indicators, normative tables have been developed to assess the component composition of the body, necessary for choosing an adequate mode of motor activity and diet when drawing up an individual HLS program.
Conclusion. Monitoring the health of students in the framework of joint activities allows you to systematize all data on the state of health, develop and implement targeted recommendations for the health of participants in the educational process, as well as conduct research work.
