Objective of the study was to identify the conditions that determine the success of the integration of educational, scientific and sports activities in the training of personnel in the field of physical culture and sports.
Methods and structure of the study. To achieve the goal, a comprehensive analysis of the contingent of students and the teaching staff of higher educational institutions of physical culture in Russia, the material, technical, scientific and methodological support of the process of professional training of student athletes was carried out.
Results and conclusions. On the basis of statistical analysis, data were obtained on the factors that ensure the success of the implementation of the integration of educational, scientific and sports activities in the training of personnel in the field of physical culture and sports. The results of the study indicate that the effective implementation of sports training programs at a higher educational institution of physical culture is predetermined by the well-coordinated components of educational, scientific and sports activities.
