Principles of continuity and sequence of sports training in the selection and further support of gifted children

Objective of the study was to set tasks and determine ways to solve them in organizing a system for selecting and further supporting sports gifted children, taking into account the continuity and sequence of sports training.
Methods and structure of the study. The work includes: theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature and documentary sources, content analysis, a survey of regional executive authorities in the field of physical culture and sports, as well as a number of methods specific to analytical research. An assessment of individual components was carried out, an analysis of their mutual influence and expediency of use was carried out.
Results and conclusions. The proposed tasks and ways of their solution in the organization of the system of selection and further support of sports gifted children are developed taking into account the continuity and sequence of sports training in organizations in the field of physical culture and sports. The scope of the planned results is associated with the scientific, methodological and expert-analytical support of the sports selection system.
