Sports volunteering: essence, structure and development prospects

Objective of the study was to determine the essence, structure, main directions and prospects for the development of sports volunteerism in Russia.
Methods and structure of the study. The analysis of information, legal, statistical and scientific sources on the research topic was carried out.
Results and conclusions. Evidence-based proposals have been developed on the development of sports volunteering in terms of the necessary state support for sports volunteering in Russia. Further research will expand the area of development of sports volunteering in different age and social strata.
