Abstract
Objective of the study was to present the content of the events for the creation of a public bowlsport federation in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Methods and structure of the study. To determine the conditions and opportunities for the development of bowlsport in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the creation of an appropriate infrastructure, methodological, regulatory and other sources on the promotion of this sport in the region were studied. Also, a survey was conducted to identify the attitude of participants to this sport, in which students of the 1st and 2nd courses, in the amount of 300 people, and 50 teachers of physical education of the Siberian Federal University took part.
Results and conclusions. As the survey showed, the majority of students and teachers have a positive attitude towards the introduction of bowlsport into the process of physical education of the university and its professional use in the sports section.
Based on the results of the survey and the studied methodological material on the procedure for creating and registering a public organization for a sport within the framework of scientific work, a number of activities were proposed, consisting of lectures, open training, meetings with famous athletes, development of methodological material, etc.
Based on the results of the work carried out, the authors conclude that the functioning of public federations in a sport opens up great opportunities for its popularization both among those involved and among specialists. On their basis, the prospect of forming a reserve for elite sports, as well as effective coordination of cooperation between sports institutions and organizations in the field of physical culture and sports, is being created.
