Historical analysis of the development of polyathlon in the Krasnoyarsk region

Abstract
Objective of the study was to identify aspects of the origin and subsequent development of polyathlon in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Methods and structure of the study. The methodological basis of the study is a historical and analytical approach, including a theoretical analysis of scientific and methodological literature and documentary sources, as well as empirical methods of scientific research, such as a survey and conversation with people who were at the origins of the emergence of polyathlon and are directly related to the development of this type sports in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Results and conclusions. As a result of the study, data on the development of polyathlon in the Krasnoyarsk Territory were established and presented, most of which was preserved only in unpublished and inaccessible archives for a wide range of people (archival newspapers, regulations and protocols, as well as memos from previous polyathlon and all-around sports competitions GTO complex). In the course of the analysis of scientific literature, it was revealed that the history of the development of polyathlon in the Krasnoyarsk Territory originates from the GTO complex - a system of mass physical education of the population, which is being revived today in Russia and aimed at the comprehensive and harmonious development of a person.
