Structure and content of extra-course lessons of junior schoolchildren aimed at the development of speed

Abstract
Objective of the study was to provide a scientific and methodological substantiation of the effectiveness of the methodology for developing the speed of boys and girls aged 6-8 years.
Methods and structure of the study. Under the conditions of pedagogical research on the basis of the municipal budgetary educational institution secondary school No. 24 in Kolomna, a program for the development of the speed of children 6-8 years old, taking into account gender, was drawn up and its effectiveness was experimentally tested during training sessions. In the course of the study, the following were carried out: analysis of scientific and methodological literature; sociological research methods (questioning), pedagogical experiment; pedagogical testing; methods of mathematical statistics.
Results and conclusions. The developed software and methodological support for the process of developing speed in boys and girls aged 6-8 is of high practical importance. The compiled materials can be used in the work of physical culture specialists in organizing classes with primary school students, in the process of preparing children in institutions of additional education.
