Implementation of information pedagogical technologies in the process of teaching students of physical education universities in the course «gymnastics»

Abstract
Objective of the study was to theoretical substantiation and experimental verification of the effectiveness of the use of a multimedia training program in the training process of preparing students of a physical education university for the course "Gymnastics" in conditions of distance and partially distance learning.
Methods and structure of the study. The pedagogical experiment was carried out on the basis of the Department of Theory and Methods of Gymnastics of the Russian State University of Physical Culture, Sports, Youth and Tourism in Moscow. The experiment involved 882 people who were divided into control and experimental groups. The control group (n=365) used the traditional teaching methodology, the subjects of the experimental group (n=517) additionally used the multimedia training program "Gymnastics".
Results and conclusions. The effectiveness of the application of the multimedia program "Gymnastics" in the process of distance and partially distance learning of students was confirmed by the following results during the pedagogical experiment: the average score for theoretical knowledge in the experimental group was 4.57 points, in the control group - 3.74 points. The result in the experimental group was significantly higher by 16.7%. Thus, the analysis of the level of practical skills of the trainees showed that at the end of the pedagogical experiment the positive shift was higher in the experimental group. The authors note that the use of multimedia programs does not exclude traditional teaching methods, but is harmoniously combined with them at all stages of learning: familiarization, training, application, control.
