The use of distance technologies in the organization of the educational process in a sports university

Abstract
Objective of the study was to analyze the experience of the implementation of humanitarian disciplines using distance technologies in a higher education institution of physical culture.
Methods and structure of the study. The data on the attendance of online classes, on the use of the electronic educational environment was studied, a survey was conducted in the form of a questionnaire on the attitude of students to distance learning at Lesgaft NSU (Electronic information and educational environment).
Results and conclusions. The experience of remote teaching of humanitarian disciplines to students of higher educational institutions of physical culture is analyzed. The relevance of the study is due to the need to master and improve distance learning technologies in accordance with the requirements of modern conditions. The main advantages and contradictions of the organization of distance learning are determined and the conclusion about the need for an optimal combination of traditional and distance learning in a sports university is substantiated.
