Optimization of physical fitness of young sambo wrestlers based on circular training

Abstract
Objective of the study was to develop sets of exercises based on the circuit training method used to optimize the overall physical fitness of 10-11-year-old sambo wrestlers.
Methods and structure of the study. The pedagogical research was carried out on the basis of the municipal autonomous institution of the city of Nizhnevartovsk "Sports School of the Olympic Reserve". The study involved 36 boys aged 10-11 years old who go in for sambo in groups of initial training. Activity planning and implementation were carried out on the basis of the introduction of circuit training exercise complexes into the training process during the study.
Results and conclusions. The analysis of scientific and methodological literature data on the issues of increasing the effectiveness of the training process of sambists made it possible to determine that the competent implementation of various means and methods of sports training contributes to its optimization and causes an accelerated increase in their level of general and special physical fitness. The use of the developed sets of exercises based on the method of circular training made it possible to increase the results of: strength abilities – by 31%, coordination abilities – by 21.4%, endurance – by 26.2%, flexibility – by 23.7%, speed-strength abilities – by 22.4%. The use of the circuit training method is one of the most important means of increasing the level of physical fitness of young sambists and has a positive effect on the development of basic physical qualities.
