Abstract
Objective of the study was to to evaluate the effect of exercises using TRX and ViPR simulators on the anthropometric parameters of 16-18 year old shot putters.
Methods and structure of the study. The study sample included 20 athletes from the Syrian Arab Republic, specializing in shot put, of which 12 athletes made up the control group and eight athletes - the experimental group, the age of the subjects was 16-18 years. The control group trained as usual according to the standard training program, and the experimental group trained three times a week according to the program using ViPR and TRX exercises.
Results and conclusions. Training using the ViPR and TRX simulators led to an improvement in a number of significant anthropometric indicators in shot putters aged 16-18, such as the circumference of the chest, thigh, calf muscle, biceps and triceps, while the fat mass in the main muscle groups decreased. These indicators are among the main characteristics of young athletes in the selection and prediction of further sports growth.
