Abstract
Objective of the study was to rate benefits of the physical rehabilitation service model for children with severe multiple developmental disorders at “Potential” physical rehabilitation Center in Orenburg Oblast.
Methods and structure of the study. We analyzed progress of the underage sample with severe multiple developmental disorders on the individual physical rehabilitation service routes, with focused corrections over an annual cycle of systematic physical rehabilitation service.
Results and conclusion. The study found the systemic physical rehabilitation service model beneficial as it develops positive central nervous system responses to a range of natural stimuli in the individualized physical practices. Thus 56%, 7% and 5 of 7 children diagnosed with cerebral palsy, autistic disorders and genetic diseases (respectively) were tested with progresses in the pre- versus post tests; and every child with the other diseases/ disorders was tested with some progress as well.
Keywords: physical rehabilitation, children with severe multiple developmental disorders.
