Objective of the study was to design and test benefits of a training time control model for technical and tactical trainings in Olympic combat sports.
Methods and structure of the study. We sampled for the training time control model testing experiment the Olympic combat sports elite (n=12) qualified Masters of Sports). The Experimental Group training included special technical and tactical skills trainings in attacks and defenses; with 60s workouts at 80-85% maximal intensity and the 60s rest breaks. The Control Group training times were the same with the 120s rest breaks.
Results and conclusion. The training time control model testing experiment showed that precompetitive practices with sparring bouts should be strictly rated by the training time and rest breaks in a weekly microcycle. The 60s workouts at 80-85% maximal intensity and 60s rest breaks were found to cause large fatigue detrimental to the rehabilitation process. The 60s workouts at 80-85% maximal intensity and 120s rest breaks were found more beneficial for rehabilitation and further workout efficiency.
