Correlation of functional performance characteristics and competitive results of rowers

Thus, the listed morphofunctional indicators characterize the level of development of local muscular endurance. It is the leading limiting factor in the muscular work of submaximal power, which includes rowing at 500 and 2000 m. This, in our opinion, explains the high correlation values between the competitive results of academic rowers and the power indicators at the anaerobic threshold when performing the test on the Concept-2 rowing simulator and the foot ergometer.
