Objective of the study was to develop the technology of organization of health and fitness activities of modern enterprise employees on the basis of a web portal.
Methods and structure of the study. The study lasted two years (2017-2018) and consisted of several stages. As part of the study, we developed and adopted the "Athlete Guide" web portal-based technology of informational support to users in planning, organizing, monitoring, and managing the health-improving and training process in LLC "Gazprom Transgaz Krasnodar". Sampled for the study were 115 males and females aged 21-60 years, who were divided into two groups: Experimental Group (n=60) – active users of the web portal and the Control Group (CG) (n=55) – those engaged in independent physical education and sports activities.
The technology was designed to identify the initial level of the users’ physical fitness; determine the training process objectives based on the test results; develop an individual training route - a program aimed to improve physical fitness rates and meet the GTO Complex standards.
Results and conclusions. The results of the GTO Complex tests and questionnaire survey conducted among the enterprise employees showed that the development of the web portal-based technology of organization of health and fitness activities of the enterprise employees made it possible to increase their physical fitness level, form the need for regular physical exercise and a healthy way of life.
