Objective of the study was to conduct a content analysis of the publications in the scientific-theoretical journal "Teoriya i praktika fizicheskoy kultury" to identify strategic vectors of development of sports science.
Methods and structure of the study. During the content analysis, we studied the publications in the regular section "In Search of New Breakthrough" under the project "Perspective", 33 articles over the course of 2020 in total. An article was taken as a counting unit. The cover articles were presented by authors from different cities of Russia: Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Tchaikovsky, etc.
Results and conclusions. As shown by the results of the content analysis, the publications in the "Perspectives" section are primarily focused on the information-based promotion of the federal project "Sport is the Norm of Life", within the framework of which the concept of sportization is realized. We noted the relevance and research topicality of the publications in the "Perspectives" section devoted to the problem of sports sector staffing. Among the key scientific trends in the humanitarian field of the "Perspectives" section, the author highlights the theoretical and methodological concept of the subjectivity of personal physical culture as a necessary condition for preserving integrity.
The author concludes that the effective information work of the Teoriya i praktika fizicheskoy kultury Journal can be insured by the creative potential of the scientific community, high professionalism, and creativity of the editorial staff responsible for the scientific and information support of the Russian sports science.
